THE STUDIO
Piatra is a landscape architecture & land development studio known for its masterful use of traditional stone masonry and rare plant specimens. We specialize in design, development and project management for both residential and commercial clients. We are based in central Ohio, and serve communities in and around Upper Arlington, Dublin, New Albany, Powell and surrounding areas. Our team accepts projects across the US and abroad on a case-by-case basis.

Our design process is a careful, one-on-one study of the client, the existing architecture and the natural landscape. Because each project is a unique expression of our client's needs and goals, we prioritize taking time to listen carefully and become acquainted with each site so we can balance the client's vision with technical design constraints.
We pride ourselves on our skillful management of interdisciplinary teams and believe that collaboration with all affiliated professionals is essential to the design and execution of our projects. As such, our first order of business is creating a shared vision and understanding with all parties involved before touching pencil to paper. Years of experience has demonstrated that preparation is the greatest predictor of success.
